  • Company-paid access to coaching and therapy
  • 401k plan with 1:1 access to investment advisor
  • Health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
  • Paid professional development opportunities

Diverse and Inclusive Marketing Comes from Diverse and Inclusive Teams

We recognize our teammates are our greatest assets in helping our clients market less and (matter) more. Diverse backgrounds, opinions and perspectives on our team allow us to expand our own perspectives and, in the process, create solutions that are innovative, creative, and strategic.

We're constantly working to transform our agencies and industry into spaces that are more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and we welcome the addition of YOUR unique voice and perspective. Don't forget to ask us about our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion during your interview.

Who is the Senior Director of Video Production and Photography?

This senior-level position within our nimble team demands a versatile multitasker - someone equally at ease behind the camera, in the editing room, or managing a team of creative professionals. You have a robust portfolio highlighting a diverse array of multimedia projects and a proven track record of steering production from concept to delivery.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Direct and supervise the entire video and photography production process, seamlessly navigating pre-production planning, on-site shooting, post-production editing, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and our creative team to cultivate concepts and scripts that not only align with business objectives but also resonate with our target audiences.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of photographers, videographers, and other production staff, nurturing a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Skillfully operate various digital cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices to capture high-quality footage and stills.
  • Lead the post-production process, encompassing video editing, color grading, sound design, and incorporating effects or graphics using industry-standard software.
  • Ensure that all content is on-brand, maintaining consistency in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimizing it for specific channels or formats.
  • Keep pace with emerging trends and technologies in video and photography, spearheading initiatives to incorporate innovative production techniques.
  • Manage production budgets and timelines meticulously, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.

What do You Need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years professional experience in video production and photography, including leadership roles.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video and photography work, spanning narrative, commercial, and corporate projects. Please attach with your application to be considered.
  • Proficiency with digital cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and video editing software e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • A creative mind with a passion for storytelling and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to multitask and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to shoot locations as required up to 25%.

Important note: if you think you have what it takes to be a great Senior Director of Video Production and Photography but don't necessarily meet all of these qualifications, please still apply! While we work hard to eliminate unnecessary requirements from our job ads, our teams and needs are constantly evolving, and we'd always love the opportunity to connect and see what might be a fit.

Where is This Role?

Our offices are located in Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. While our teams are fully remote-flexible, our ideal candidate will be located in or near Cincinnati or Louisville.
