Who is the PM Supervisor?

The PM Supervisor oversees the project management function at Leap Group, including directly supervising and inspiring a team of project managers.

The PM Supervisor works closely with creative, marketing, media and tech teams to produce amazing, integrated products and c(amp)aigns. You will manage project managers to consistently and thoughtfully support the details of project scope, schedule, and budget with uncanny attention to detail, fostering a culture within the project managers to think critically and find solutions quickly with confidence.

The PM Supervisor provides insights on process improvements and/or resources and tools available to the agencies and ensures that the standard workflow and processes are properly followed and implemented.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Manage project a small team 3-6 project managers and junior project managers. You will manage work distribution and priorities and monitor productivity, quality, and timeliness of work. You embrace your role as a leader, and serve as an active resource and mentor to your direct reports, including providing regular coaching and feedback.

• Collaborate with leadership to create and support standard project implementations and process/change management, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and help guide client strategy.

• Own administrative functions crucial to project management, including executing time tracking, estimating, and managing monthly reporting and ad-hoc requests.

• Maintain PMO knowledge-base and internal training on processes, tools, and offerings, and evaluate and implement changes to project management tools and processes.

• The PM Supervisor is ultimately responsible for project success and works with the other project managers to review, analyze, and help troubleshoot issues that come up throughout the project process. This position helps oversee the processes and scheduling to help maintain product quality and team success for the entire group.

• Manage resource management and forecasting across departments and agencies.

• Contribute to company-wide process documentation and work to define and implement improvements.

What do You Need?

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years project management experience at a digital marketing agency or advertising agency.
• 2+ years in a project management supervisory position.
• PMP Certification strongly preferred. If not PMP certified, must have satisfactorily completed PMP coursework and/or training.
• Experience managing clients and projects across a broad spectrum of marketing, advertising, digital and development/IT disciplines.
• Experience managing media c(amp)aigns/operations.
• Experience directly managing a team of project managers and junior project managers and coaching and motivating direct reports.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients alike.
• Superior organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Understanding and demonstrated capacity for executing project methodologies including waterfall, agile and Kanban.
• Experience with enterprise project management systems Workfront preferred.
