For Second Consecutive Year, Leap Group Ranked #2 Among Louisville’s Largest Advertising Firms

Press Release

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – Louisville Business First revealed that Leap Group again ranks No. 2 on its annual list of the largest advertising agencies in the Louisville area. This highly competitive ranking represents the most successful firms within one of the economy’s most dynamic segments, with agencies on the list naming some of the top national and global brands as their clients. For Leap Group, this includes such leading names as American Kennel Club (AKC), Lily, True Food Kitchen, Duck Brands, Atlas World Group, Summit Brands, and Teleflex.

“Creative success is about more than just creating visually stunning work,” said Kenny Friedman, Executive Creative Director at Leap Group, “It’s about crafting something that resonates, that moves people and compels them to take action. At the end of the day, it’s about making our clients matter more to their audiences”

As a bespoke agency holding company, Leap Group offers clients simplified access to four independent specialty agencies, including (matter), a creative and branding agency; (spark) studio, a photo, video, and web production studio; (human)x, a marketing research and analytics agency; and (amp), a full-service digital media agency.

“Today’s brands are all facing intense competition on a global level and trying to do more with less,” said Walter Harris, VP, Director of Client Services. “I love that at Leap Group, I can give our clients access to all the capabilities and deep domain experience of our specialty agencies, from award-winning writers and directors to some of the industry’s top data analysts and marketing researchers. Our clients only pay for what they need, and we can stay focused on delivering creative work that drives results.”

With offices in Louisville, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati, Leap Group added to its footprint last year with the opening of a new office in Chicago to better serve its growing roster of clients and team members in the city. Also in 2024, the network was named to the Inc. 5000 list for the second consecutive year for demonstrating impressive 121% growth in revenue from 2000 to 2023.

“Leap Group exists to help our clients solve their toughest business challenges in today’s competitive landscape and create the authentic human experiences that make their brand matter more,” said Alan Gilleo, Founding Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at Leap Group. “By giving them simplified access to specialized agencies, Leap Group gives our clients the agility, speed and depth of expertise that they need, all with a single contract and single point of contact.”

“Clients are facing any number of challenges these days, including budget and time constraints” said Ember Marr, Co-Owner and President at (spark) studio. “But limitations never limit our creative. Our team has collective decades of production experience taking the great ideas inside our clients’ heads and bringing them to life in impactful ways that people can’t wait to share.”
